The Port House: Reviews & Ratings

Went for lunch with a date. We sat in a booth and it was cosy. We had the sliders (excellent), pork belly pieces (they should have been bigger. I was disappointed), goat’s cheese salad (delicious). We each had a large glass of wine and a chat for a couple of hours. It was all very pleasant.

5 star food, 5 star food, 5 star food. Every dish was literally unreal & left you wanting more. Amazing for gluten free - almost everything on the menu can be done gluten free for a celiac. My fiancé and I got the ham croquettes (uncommon to find gluten free), the beef cheeks, the shrimp, patatas bravas, chicken thigh - and then another round of ham croquettes because my mouth was salivating for them. Beef melts in your mouth, the chicken was tender, shrimp had a tasty sauce, and the potatoes were tasty with the sauce. Restaurant looks tiny when you walk in but there’s multiple levels. The tables had a great ambience to them, and it made for a romantic date night. Service was a bit slow but the servers were all nice & helpful while communicating my gluten allergy. Was the best dinner I had while visiting London for the week, would recommend to everyone!

Stopped by for a quick tapas dinner and was delighted with the food choices. Their white port sangria is DELICIOUS and they had a platter of four croquettes in different flavours - my favourite was the truffle but all four were amazing. I also ordered a cannelloni with slow cooked duck covered in manchego cheese, and Catalan spinach topped with goat’s cheese. Would recommend!
